Ameriprise Financial is dedicated to helping end domestic hunger and is a proud supporter of Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization.

The Capital Wealth Advisory Group,a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. is supporting these efforts through food drives in Madison, WI, Richland Center, WI and Rockton, IL.

In 2010 we hosted volunteer activities in November as part of the National Day of Service. In 2010, we collected 8,000 pounds in Richland Center alone.  We want to double this in 2011.

Our targets for 2011 are to collect 16,000 pounds of food and raise a minimum of $2,000($2,000 will buy 11,000 pounds of food, so this is a huge impact), bringing Feeding America RC Style close to the 30,000 pound range. To assist with this, the Capital Wealth Advisory Group Foundation will match $1 for every $3 raised up to a $500 total contribution.

Additionally, over the week, we hope to have 120 volunteers 1) canvassing the community, 2) collecting food from drop off points, 3) delivering food to the pantry, 4) volunteering at the pantry, 5) delivering meals to elderly.
