Welcome to the home page of the Madison Youth Performing Arts Foundation.
It looks like the final accounting of 'Brat Fest ' shows that not only did we beat the record for the number of brats sold (a big media fact), but we also had over 200 performing groups, our largest crowd ever, and here is the BIG ONE, we raised over $100,000 for local charities.
There is nothing better for our Foundation than knowing how many entertainers were able to perform for you, and how much money we raise for charities. That is our purpose.
Shortly, the football season will be upon us, so this is your time to get a signed limited edition print of Jeff Koehn's spectacular piece of collectible art titled "Red Zone". Since our Foundation is located in Madison, Wisconsin, art work featuring the UW-Wisconsin Badgers about to score from the 'red zone' is a natural tie-in. (Plus Jeff is a Wisconsin native.)
The Office of Trademark Licensing at the UW-Wisconsin Athletic Department has granted us permission to create these prints as a charitable fundraiser.
'Red Zone' is an exciting piece depicting the Wisconsin Badger football team in historic Camp Randall. The sun is setting as the Badgers storm the end zone, capping a memorable day for 88,000 plus loyal Badger Backers.
You will want to own this magnificient piece.

Our involvement in some of the major music and youth festivals and activities has been extremely fulfilling. It aligns perfectly with our mission of creating performance and fundraising opportunities for youth and performing arts groups in the greater Madison Wisconsin area.
On May 9, the MAMAs (Madison Area Music Awards) announced the 2009 Award Winners. We are pleased and honored that our BRATFEST 2008 MUSIC was selected as the Compilation Album of the Year for 2009. We are now in the process of creating the BRATFEST 2010 Compilation Album.
While MYPAF spearheaded the effort to create this labor of love, we could not do it without the support of Midwest Family Broadcasting and Metcalfe's Sentry. We also owe a very special thanks to Jake Johnson and Paradyme Studios for all of the work they do.
Most importantly, to all of the bands who give of their time to help Brat Fest raise so much money for so many worthy community groups, this award is truly a tribute to your hours of dedication, energy, passion and compassion. Thank you!
Also, you can now own a signed limited edition print of Jeff Koehn's Madison Magic. 100% of these proceeds go to support our work.

Also new this year, our Foundation and the Dry Bean, a very community oriented Madison establishment, hosts 'Charity Sundays at the Bean'. Every Sunday the Bean has free music and fun, with all proceed during that time going to local charities. Charities that wish to be involved need to get into contact with us. Bands that are interested in being a part of this should also contact us. For the bands, this is also a great way to secure your slot on a stage at Brat Fest.
Many wonderful things underway. Is your group involved? For more information, check out our Fundraising section.
