Richland Rejuvenates

Richland Rejuvenates is a joint effort of the Capital Wealth Advisory Group Foundation and the Madison Youth Performing Arts Foundation, designed to bring together business, community and city leaders for the “purpose of making our community the ‘Center of it all.’”

The second annual Feeding America RC Style drive finished in grand fashion surpassing the goals set by Richland Rejuvenates, the sponsor of the event. The effort was supported by the Capital Wealth Advisory Group, Rockwell, S &S Cycle Inc., Richland Hospital, Richland Medical Center, Miniature Precision Components (MPC), Schreiber Foods Inc. and the Richland Center Foundry.

On January 15, 2012, Richland Rejuvenates is please to host our first annual ‘Making A Difference’ awards banquet.

‘Making A Difference’ brings together city, community and business leaders to honor city, community and business leaders who have and continue to make an impact on the quality of life in Richland County.

Now, Richland Rejuvenates is launching the first full cycle of its events including:
Caring Karts Churnin Dust
Makeover Madness Mania
History, Horns & Hornets
Feeding America - RC Style

Caring Karts, Churnin’ Dust is a new addition to the Richland Center Independence Day celebration that will bring together local businesses affiliated with the Richland Chamber and Economic Development Association (RCDA) to raise money for and awareness of the Richland Community Food Pantry. The event will include eight cart races in which businesses can buy a racing cart to race against other local businesses. Depending on where the cart places in the races, a charity chosen by the business will receive a percentage of the event proceeds and 50 percent will go to the food pantry.
Makeover Madness Mania will rekindle the excitement and community spirit the recent visit by Extreme Makeover: Home Edition generated. The goal of this spring event is to launch and coordinate clean ups and fix ups in Richland Center. Richland Rejuvenates will work with the RCDA to identify needs in the community. The projects would include three levels: renewing, rebuilding and rehabbing. Currently, the group is working on fundraising and is working to collaborate with Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS).

History, Horns and Hornets is designed to bring money to the Richland Community Performing Arts Council by bringing direct involvement to youth in music and to help re-establish the public profile of the oldest high school band in the nation. The project will raise money to provide instruments to schools and scholarships to students.

The organization has its own board and its own infrastructure.
